Snow day...

The boys had two snows days last week.

Thursday and Friday the bundled up for the single digit weather to sleigh ride.

Harley also joined them in the fun. He had to wear his coat too!!

Mountain Man Breakfast

We got Seth a dutch oven for his birthday.

Aunt Julie and Uncle Gene got the other necessary items to cook outside on the coals.

Seth made his first meal for breakfast on Sunday.


First get the coals ready and put them on the top and under the dutch oven






Turn the pot a quarter of a turn and the lid.. makes it cook more even.. I'm told.

He said he was trying a dessert next.

Happy 11th Birthday Seth!

Seth is a New Year's Eve baby.

I think he was probably the last baby to be born in 1998.

There was only a few others on the birthing wing that night.

He was born around 9:15 am.

The world celebrates on his birthday ever year.

I always have to purchase all the birthday gifts during the Christmas rush.

He said his favorite gift was his dutch over. That's the boy scout in him. Now to find some recipes for him to try it out for us. YUM!

This is a tradition our family does every year. This year they finally got to make theirs on Christmas Eve.

Granny and I found this kit this year something a little different the boys seemed to enjoy building the village and eating the candy.

Mom and Dad adopted a new puppy for Christmas.
