New shoes

New shoes

doesn't everyone like new shoes... Well I got my new running shoes yesterday.. Thanks again to Aunt Ann.. Since they were a little over what $$ I had.. Mom paid for the balance... I love them so far... I have to break them in a little...

Day 3 of VBS.. the boys seem to like it so far.. no complaining about getting up and going at least.

Michael had to put some chemicals in the pool for algae.. Michael said it smelled like a pond.. he he.. I hope that its better this afternoon.. so the boys can swim.

Mckay is going to Church Camp the end of July he is so excited about that.. I heard Middle school kids were expensive..

Michael and I were trying to figure out a week for vacation.. looks like we might have to wait till Fall break for a vacation.. Every week has something going on.. crazy.. and there is only 6 weekends left before school starts or about that..Summer for the kids is short this year.

Thanks Again Aunt Ann for my new shoes.. love them!! I will post a picture soon!!

I love surprises!

I'm so excited.. I got the best surprise in the mail yesterday.. My favorite Aunt sent me $$ to buy new running shoes... and I quote she said "don't buy cheap ones.. so you can buy Michael, Mckay or Seth a pair too".. Isn't that great... So I'm going out today and buy me a new pair.. then I have to send her a pic.. I think that is a fine deal huh..Ya know a new pair of running shoes to me is like candy to a baby..Thanks Aunt Ann!!!

No rain yesterday, Michael's game didn't get rained out.. The won 16-10.. Yay! two in a row.. We went out to Ritzy again for Food and ice cream.. Michael said if they keep winning he will be broke from buying all that ice cream.. and I will have to run extra to keep the pounds at bay...

Day 2 of VBS.. I have an extra child to take today. She just lives about a mile up the road shouldn't be a problem.

Mom and I are going shopping for my shoes and run some errands today while the kiddos are in VBS.. then when we pick them up we are going to take them to do something.. not sure what that something is yet!

I got a bunch of my embroidery finished yesterday I'm really happy about that.. I still have lots more to do though.

The boys cleaned their rooms yesterday too.. they look great.. they did it without to much arguing about it.. I helped them just a little.. just enough to keep them on task.. their rooms hadn't been cleaned for a month i bet.. Mckay had a cousin come spend the night on memorial day weekend.. he said he wasn't putting his stuff in Mckay's room he might lose something hehe..that should have told Mckay something..

OK enough I guess for today.. I will get around to posting the 5K pictures soon.. I still need to load them to my computer

First day of VBS

The first day of bible school is today.. The boys were happy to go I think.. Mckay started Youth class yesterday in church loves it.. They get to choose a color to paint their new sunday school class.. plus they get to paint..

I did get out for a run this morning.. it was cooler than usual but it was a nice run.. I did 2.6 miles.. I got the Nike+IPOD working finally yeah.. Now to figure out how to get the information to nikeplus.com to keep track of my workouts and totals and such.

I have already got some embroidery finished today.. while the boys are at VBS..

I think it might rain today around noon.. we will see.

Michael has a softball game this evening.. maybe it wont rain it out and they win again!!

I need to hit the grocery store and I have to fill up the car with gas that will cost.. ouch!

Kroger 5K today...

Yep! the Kroger 5K was today.. Mckay got 3rd in his division.. and I finished.. hehe! Seth didn't run.. I believe everyone stayed up to late.. Seth had a hard time getting ready to go this morning. We had to be there about 7 or 7:30..

Michael took lots of pictures of the run. I will try to load some of those by Monday.

Michael is working on putting his new motor in the car. Hopefully he will have it up and running again this weekend.

We have a barbcue this afternoon should be lots of fun too! I need to get some stuff ready to go..

Mckay is wiped out and is taken a nap before this afternoons get together..Maybe I should do the same..

its June!!

Michael's game didn't get rained out.. It was a great game too..They won!! he was so excited they are 1-4 now.. hehe!! it went into double overtime.. the score was 9-11..
So we went out after the game and had Ice cream.

Slept in to late today to get out for a run.. I'm kinda disappointed. I'm lazy today.

The boys are getting in the pool I'm making a pizza for lunch..

I'm planning on making a mini album for June for Scrapbook playground challenge.. So I'm going to keep my notes here so I can keep up with the days and such.

I think I have sold my Mustang.. I have owned it since I was 17.. over 20 years wow.. it is kinda of bittersweet.. but its a car right.. making almost as much from it today.. that I bought it for in 87... wow huh.. that makes me feel a little better.

Not sure who and if we will run the 5K tomorrow.. I'm not seeming to be excited about it.. I guess it the laziness in me today.. I guess tomorrow we will see..

We do have a barbcue to go to tomorrow I think that will be fun.. after I accepted we got another invtation to another barbcue.. shame they are at the same time of day.. or we could do both..

The boys have be bickering with each other a lot today.. I need to think of some more fun things to do this summer..I might take them to Build a bear.. just don't tell them.. the Drive in is a must too..

I think we will hit Holiday World sometimes in June too...

Not sure when the vacation is planned and not sure if we will go anywhere the gas prices are ridiculous..

Vacation Bible school starts next week I'm hoping the boys enjoy going. I need some time to myself to get some much need embroidery work finished.. I would work on it now but I hate leaving the boys in the pool by themselves.

Maybe I can sign the boys up for Swim lessons in a few days too.. that will make me feel better!
