Lets see the last movie I went to see was the New Harry Potter Movie. I wasn't to impressed by it to be truthful.. I don't remember why since it was back in the summer when we went to see it at the drive in..

I'm not a huge movie person. I would like to see the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie. we missed seeing this while it was out at the theater this summer. Waiting for it to come out on Pay preview or video.

As you probably have seen by the movies I marked earlier in my blog that I don't watch to many movies. I guess I just don't make time.

So there it is.. I don't watch many movies..

Yep homegrown tomatoes and about 5 hours of time get you fabulous salsa.

This is the first batch. We still have more tomatoes growing. So we should get another batch soon.

Man did it make the house hot last night too!!

Now all I need is some chips and a few friends to share with..

1. I'm short 5ft tall if I'm lucky.. Jeanne knows this now.. She always has a short joke for me.. hehe
2. My first job was at Baskin Robbins.. Pink and Brown uniform.. it wasn't that cute..
3. I have worked at an flight school/airport in customer service.
4. I have been married to my DH Michael for 16 years.
5. My scraproom is also my sewing room.. I own a home based embroidery business.
6. My favorite Auntie taught me how to sew when I was about 7 or 8 I guess, and I have taught several people myself..
7. I have several trophy's for running 5Ks. Although Im not that fast. running is my other hobby, keeps me in shape.
8. I love purple, roses and spring and summer... I don't like the cold so much..

School is back in full swing again.. Homework and everything extra.

AWANA started last night..The first night went well.

Mckay's first cross country meet is this Saturday. I'm anxious to see how well he does. He will be competing against two of his cousins.

Katie's has posted a few new blog challenges and I haven't completed them at all.

The house is about clean and I guess I'm going to hide in my scrap/sewing room this afternoon.

I have lots of ideas and projects to complete.

The running is going better. I have been getting out several times a week since the boys have started back to school. The weather is just horrible though.. hot hot hot.

AWANA kickoff is tonight at church. Should be a lot of fun.

Dunking booth, petting zoo, face painting, balloons and inflatables. Maybe I should take my camera, not sure I will have time to take pictures though.

I have about got my scrapbook/sewing room organized again.. It was terrible I had no counter space to do anything.

I have lots of embroidery I need to get finished soon.

I finally got a calender to keep up with all of Mckay's meets and all the other stuff that is planned..

I should load some picture of the gerbils and my scrapbook room.. Maybe I can get that done by the end of the week.

Just hanging out at home today, enjoying the quiet.. I should scrapbook and embroider today..

I have been running this week yay!! took today off.. I want to get in at least 3 runs this week.. I have done two already..

Ok there is enough sites to keep you busy..

I have already went out for a run this morning. Its hot.. but I need to get ready for the OMU run... Its Sept 29th.. not really sure if I will get to run it or not. Mckay might have a XC meet that day too.

I ran 2 miles.. I might get to run with my new running partner a few days this week. I'm training her up.. I hope she keeps it up.. She wants to lose a little weight.. Although she weighs less than me.. Everyone is build so different..

Today I plan on working on organizing that Scrapbook room.. Its needs a lot of work. Then I need to work on embroidery too..its stacking up... and I hate that theirs no room to work..

I have school orientation tonight for Seth's class.

Then tomorrow is Mckays BTS picnic.. I will have to miss this I have an AWANA meeting.. Michael will take the boys to the picnic..

Wed is the AWANA kickoff.. should be lots of fun. food, games inflatables and prizes..

Thursday morning I have a gal coming over to do a in home beauty thing.Then I have a Volunteer meeting at the school in the afternoon.

And don't forget Mckay has practice every afternoon till 5:00..

The schedule is busy!! I better find a calender to keep up with it all..

New pets..

Michael and I finally broke down and let the boys get gerbils.. not one but two..

They are both black and their names are Paws and Taz...

They paid for them with their own money and are responsible for them too.

I told them Mom or dad will not feed, clean or maintain their cage.. and if they don't they will be sold or feed to the cat....(hehe just kidding)... I couldn't do that..

So maybe in a few days I will get a picture and post it for everyone to see.

I'm hoping this will teach them some responsibility..

Michael is working today for a bit.. not sure what else we are going to do..

The boys are still sleeping.

I need to work on laundry I guess, and do some house cleaning..

Maybe I should skip the cleaning and work on embroidery and scrapbooking!!

P.S. maybe the PAWS bear can come visit Paws the gerbil..

its Quiet here..

yep its quiet.. I enjoy it though.

I probably should have went out for a run.. decided not to..

I did get some embroidery finished yesterday I still have lots more to finish though.

Today I think I'm going to town and pick up some supplies for the kiddos for school. You know there is always a few things that you need after the fact.

Mckay's XC practice was fun yesterday he said. They got to run inside the school cause of the heat index. Well they ran the hallways and up and down the stairs. Sounds exciting huh.

One of Seth's friends seat got moved so he isn't sitting by both of his best friends now.

Both of the boys looked like they were tired this morning. It takes awhile to get back in the routine.

Nothing super exciting going on here..

I got to run today...

I have a friend that is starting to run with me. I'm so glad since my other running partner moved over the summer.

So we went out and did a nice easy run.

I feel much better I haven't been out to run in a few weeks.

The boys both had a great first day of school.

Seth is excited that his two best friends are sitting next to him. I told him not to get use that.. hehe.

Mckay had lots to say about the Middle school.. and since he doesn't tell me much about school.. I believe he had a great day!

Our AWANA kickoff is next Wednesday.. so things are getting back to normal around here I like have a schedule of some sorts and maybe the eating habits will be much better too.

A first for the "First day of school"..

Yep! The boys missed the bus..

3 alarm clocks set not one went off at the right time.. ugh..

Got Seth to school lots of people there dropping kids off. wow it was busy my kids always ride the bus the first day.

Took Mckay to the Middle school.. He was excited I believe.. Mckay was glad I took him too he had lots of stuff to carry in..

I cant wait to hear about their days. Seth will be home about 2:30 and Mckay wont be home till 4:00.. They cancelled his XC practice for today cause of the Heat Index again.. They will practice in the gym the last few days this week. At least he will get to ride the bus home today and see how that works for him.

I plan on making some cookies and maybe either ice cream or milkshakes for the special 1st day of school snack.. This has kinda become a tradition to make them something special for the first day of school..

I didn't realize the boys enjoyed it so much, until they asked what their surprise would be today for snack after school.

Its really hot. I'm hoping I can get the Grass mowed before it gets to bad.. its getting tall and really needs it..

I need to vacuum the pool also... and clean a bunch...maybe embroidery or scrapbook.

I'm really enjoying watching TV already...

I did get some pictures to scrapbook for the first day of school even though we were running behind.

School starts tomorrow..

School Starts tomorrow.. It's kinda bittersweet though.. I hate to see the summer stuff go.. But the boys need some structure in their lives again.. They are bored a lot these last few days.

We have done lots of things this summer. although we didn't get a real vacation. hopefully fall break we will get to take a vacation.

Anyways, the boys are still sleeping. I was going to wake them early today.. I decided they could use their last day to sleep late.

We are going to get haircuts later day. Mckay is letting his hair grow out so it will just be a trim. Seth told me he wanted his to grow out long too.. but now he has decided that he wants it short again. I guess this heat wave we have been having made his decision for him.

The Cross Country Picnic got canceled last night because of the heat index..It was way to high. The kids were going to race the Principal and vice principal of the school.. Mckay has practice tonight. Then practice starts after school.

I cant wait to get back into my running for real.. Now the boys are going back to school I can run every day if I want too. My Favorite 5K is Sept 29th. I got to get ready for that. I hoping the XC schedule doesn't have something that week for Mckay.

Starting late August every Saturday will be taken up with Cross Country meets..

AWANA is getting ready to start too. I have the secretary position. We have been working on stuff for the last two weeks. We got a new office this year. So the 2 secretaries had to get that fixed up last week. We have training again tomorrow night. The we have a huge kick off party with balloons, inflatables, pet zoo, pony rides and more.. sounds fun huh..

I kinda believe it will be nice to have a routine again.. During summer we just do what we feel like at the moment..

Katie has a new blog challenge for the week... I will try to work on that before the week is out.. I gotta think on this one.. not as easy for me as the others.

Long week..WOW!

Gosh! its been a long week. We have had something to do everyday this week. Today I'm finally getting to be home for a bit.

Been working on the laundry and cleaning a bunch.. The house is a mess.

Holiday World was a lot of fun.

I want to do some scrapbooking today. I hope I can squeeze that in today.

I still need to find some shoes for Mckay for school. Might go out this afternoon and look again..

School starts next Wednesday. can you believe that I can't.

XC practice is in full swing. Competition starts the end of August.

Found out Seth has a different teacher than planned. He got to see and meet her last night at the Back to School picnic. boy was it hot!

I could go on and on about all the things we have done this week but I wont..Let's just say I spent a lot of money...

I think maybe I should fix something for lunch now. And get back to the house cleaning.

I thought I better make and entry in my blog its been a few days since I have done that.
