Its Wednesday already?

Man half the week is gone already.

I really hate the idea I cant' run. The weather is Awesome.. 50's in the morning here. great running weather..

The ankle is OK.. But its still giving me some problems. I'm not sure about running on it later this week.

I'm not going to be able to run the OMU Powerun. Mckay's cross country schedule has changed and there will be a run that day.. ugh. It's an out of town race too.. So its not even possible for me to run it then go to his meet. Oh well the life of being a parent.

I think Mckay is kinda bummed about it too. But maybe we can find another local run that we can do before the end of the year.

I had a lazy day yesterday.. Sat at the computer most the day catching up with friends, blogs and bb's..

I'm so glad I finished all my embroidery for the time being. Now I can scrapbook some and get ready for the crop in October. It's going to be so much fun!

Nothing much going on here today. So maybe I can scrap some.

I do have some things I'm going to RAK or trade on Playground. So I need to take some pictures and post those later.

Pet peeve..

When someone automatically shortens someones name.. Some people know I hate it when you call me Steph.. My name is Stephanie.. Not Steph, Stephy.. or whatever.

And spelling names correctly.. Some people just don't know I guess.

But My son's name is unusual.. and I guess we spell it unusual cause I have problems with it all the time.

But Mckay was so excited when he started middle school cause they got the spelling right on his schedule.

This is one reason we looked for names that people wouldn't shorten, when we named our kids..

Just something to blog about today.

It rained..

Mckay improved his time by over a minture this week.

He finsihed first for his team this week.

Seth is working on all A's this 9 weeks.

Cross Country meet today..

At least this one is close to home..So we don't have to be up at the crack of dawn.. hehe..

It looks like rain here today. We will see how it turns out.

My plan is to take only pictures of Mckay today.. So surely I will get a great one of him running..

This meet he will run with only the 6th graders. I hoping he does really well.

I can't run.. I gotta remember that.. so I gotta find a great place to plant myself to take pic. I hoping we don't have to walk to far from the parking area.. ugh..

Ankle is still bothering my some off and on the meds are helping some though.

We are talking about taking down the pool. I hate that.. but its getting cooler here at night and the water is getting cooler in the pool.

I did some scrapbooking last night.. Hopefully I can post a picture of it later..

I finished all yes all of my embroidery yesterday..Yay!! more time to scrap now..Plus $$ for my retreat..

I cant wait..

Im on the sideline

Yep.. I'm not running.. kinda hurts my feels but I'm under doctors orders.

I injured my ankle somehow.. Maybe its the start of arthritis not really sure. but I'm on meds and It feels much better today... But no running till mid next week :(

The phone has been ringing off the hook here lately.. Doesn't seem like I'm accomplishing much..

I haven't had much computer time, cleaning time or anything else..
Not much blogging going on.. but the stuff that's been going on I can't really blog about. some people know the problems but it seems to be getting a little better. only time will tell.

Seth was excited to get a 101 on his spelling pretest.. So he doesn't have to take it again this week. He is doing really well this year..


Not sure if I'm going get to run my favorite 5K, cause Mckay might have a cross country meet that weekend. I guess I wont really know till closer to that time.

I'm getting to go to a scrapbook retreat in October.. I'm excited about that.. I just hate the being away from home part..

We are planning a birthday party for Mckay on the 15th at the bowling alley.. He will be 11. His birthday is actually on the 18th.. With cross country and school there is no way to really have a party on the evening of his birthday.

We bought him a cell phone for his birthday. We gave it to him early last week and so far he is doing well with it.

We did buy unlimited texting for the family package.. I got the phone for free, and the activation for free and its only costing us $10 a month to add him. I guess that is a small price to pay for our convenience.

I cant believe it is already Friday..

Tomorrow is a local meet for Mckay so that is nice. It will still take up most of the day but the meet is only a few miles up the road from us.

Hi!

Man its Wednesday already..The holiday makes the week seem shorter.

Cross Country is taking up a lot of time here. between meets and practice.

Mckay got a new pair of shoes. His Nike shox had a blow out..They aren't that old. going to check with Nike for a replacement or something. He had maybe 150 miles on them.. Not enough miles in my opinion to be worn out.

Seth has picture day at school today. So far is has all A's. There is a program from the school system here were you can keep up with the kids grades during the 9 weeks.

I finished my Backpack challenge..Of course it didn't get finished by the deadline.. but its completed now.

Running for me has been good. Getting more and more miles logged since school started. But the last few days I have been having a problem with my ankle. It woke me in the middle of the night throbbing.. Not sure what it is.. it comes and goes. Might have to get it looked at.. I skipped the run today.

I think today I might go out and shop a bit.. Although I don't have scads of money to spend.

I have finished a huge order of embroidery that I have been working on off and on since late June..That felt good to get that done over the holiday weekend.

Now I have a new huge order..When rains it pours.



This is Mckay after his last race last weekend... It was a early race...and a very long day..






Here is a picture of the boys gerbils..One is hiding under their house roof(its green) they have chewed the sides up completely. Its not a great pic.. but you get the idea.. I wasn't taken them out of the cage to take a picture..


I guess that is about all that is going on right now.

Stress....

Stressful week here.. we have been angry, worried and frustrated..

Huge problem we are trying to sort thur.. Lots of phone calls.. not enough time to do anything else.

So today will be catch up day hopefully..

Clean, clean, embroidery and maybe some scrapping..

I want to finish my Backpack challenge it was due on Aug 31.

I nee to get my monies in for the retreat.. I think this will be so much fun..

Beth is going!! Yay!! I can't wait to see her its been years since we got together..
